Okay, first off, the graphics in Speed Car Race Madness are surprisingly good for an arcade game. The urban environments are really well-detailed, and the lighting effects, especially at night, make everything feel super dynamic. Driving through the city streets at top speed with all the neon lights blurring past is just awesome. The cars themselves look great too, you can really see the detail on them. It really pulls you into the race, feels like you're actually there. Definitely a visual treat and makes the whole experience much more immersive. Big thumbs up for the visuals!
This game is pure arcade fun! The controls are super responsive and easy to pick up, which is exactly what I want from an arcade racer. Drifting feels satisfying, and hitting those nitro boosts perfectly to overtake an opponent is a rush. The core racing loop is solid and addictive. My only minor gripe is that sometimes the tracks can feel a little samey after a while, and I wish there was a bit more variety in the race types beyond just standard races. Still, for quick bursts of racing action, it's hard to beat. Solid 4 stars, almost a 5!

One minute I'm winning races easily, the next I'm stuck on a single event for hours because the AI suddenly becomes unbeatable. It feels less about skill and more about grinding to upgrade your car just to keep up, which can get repetitive. The nitro mechanic is cool, but even that sometimes isn't enough when the rubberbanding AI kicks in hard. It's a decent game, but the inconsistent challenge really sours the experience for me.
